rhymes
I think it's cool how we remember songs from our childhood. I mean the songs we sing and the nursery rhymes. Most good songwriters are able to tell a whole story within a 4 minute song and it's really common words that we tend to relate to better. A chorus is just a string of words repeated throughout a song.

That's a neat way of looking at that particular form of expression. In less than four minutes, people can give an entire argument for or against...anything.
ReplyDeleteWhat's really interesting about nursery rhymes is that they were hidden ways of telling historical stories to people. I have this book called Pop Goes the Weasel and it tells you about all the secret meanings behind nursery rhymes. Just goes to show you that you CAN express an idea with simple words!
